Sweden Elective Rotation/Faculty Exchange
The international partnership between the University of Skövde in Skaraborg, Sweden and the College of Medicine/NCRHP allows students, faculty members, residents and fellows to collaborate interprofessionally to learn more about the similarities and differences in global healthcare.
Fourth-year medical students learn about the Swedish health care system and can engage in meaningful research and training activities around interprofessional education, patient centered care; geriatric medicine and health care; primary health care delivery in rural areas; mental health assessment and treatment; community-based health intervention and many more areas. Opportunities to conduct a mini COPC project are also welcomed and highly encouraged.
